Railcor was founded in 1976 and has since established itself as a reputable supplier of new and refurbished railway materials to

major players in the rail, construction and mining industries in South Africa as well as the Southern and Central regions of Africa.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clyde Industrial Corporation Proprietary Limited Group of companies.

From Railcor's humble roots as a small company specialising in the refurbishment of second-hand railway materials, it has grown

into a formidable supplier of new and second-hand material. Through the years Railcor has managed to adapt to an everchanging

business environment. The fast pace of modern business, tempered by the traditions of the past, places Railcor at the

forefront of the market.

Railcor specialises in the supply of various new and refurbished railway materials including, but not limited to:

  • Refurbished and re-build rail turnout sets
  • New and second-hand rail (15kg – 57kg Rail, when available)
  • New and second-hand steel, concrete, and timber (wooden) sleepers
  • Track tools (Rail Benders, Rail Tongs)
  • New and second-hand Rail fastenings (Coach screws, Rail Clips, Pandrol Springs, GPI's, Rail Pads)
  • New and second-hand fish bolts for various size
